Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polymer found in every tissue of the body. HyaMax® sodium hyaluronate is a low molecular hyaluronic acid produced through fermentation. Hyaluronic acid is hydrophilic and hydrates by attracting and retaining water in the extracellular matrix of tissues.
